In this seminar, we will explore how culture and law affect one another. We will consider questions such as “Are laws different depending on the culture?” This seminar will dive into the injustice that laws can have on culture and how law can work as a set of barriers.
This is a fun time to meet new people and express your thoughts in a new way! We also emphasize that this is a safe environment where all are welcome and bullying/negative attitudes will not be tolerated.
The University of Guelph Debate Club acknowledges that much of our work takes place within the Between the Lakes Purchase (Treaty 3); the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.
